Living at Parkview Midtown Apartments means being surrounded by some of Nashville’s most exciting neighborhoods—and one resident recently shared a new favorite dining spot just about a mile away. Although I haven’t had the chance to dine at Pastis yet, the glowing recommendation immediately caught my attention.

Located in the heart of Wedgewood-Houston, Pastis offers a classic French brasserie atmosphere that made quite an impression. According to our resident, the décor alone set the tone—elegant, stylish, and unmistakably Parisian. His date especially loved the ambiance, and the experience was made even more memorable by the restaurant’s proximity to the new Hermès store next door.

He summed it up simply: he loved the whole vibe.

Escargots or Not—Still Très Chic

Of course, I had to ask the important question: Are escargots on the menu?

There was a brief grimace—understandable, as snails can be polarizing—but he quickly clarified that they hadn’t ordered appetizers at all. Still, the overall takeaway was clear: oh, là là. Pastis has officially made my must-try list.
